Jos blasts: UNIJOS confirms 2 students dead, 5 missing

The University of Jos in Plateau State has confirmed that two of its students died in Tuesday’s bomb blast, which claimed over 80 lives, and declared that five were missing.  Deputy Registrar, Information and Publication, Mr. Steve Otowo, informed us that the university was aware that Michael Ogbole and Francisca Nwafor, both 500-level Medical Laboratory Science Technology students, died in the explosion but had not been able to confirm the whereabouts of five other students.
He appealed to parents and guardians, who have wards in the university, to get in touch with the institution.
He stated that the students’ union leader told him that they were still searching for five students.
