EQUALITY & IGBO MENTALITY IN BIAFRA

Dêgreat Collins Nzegwu is one of the rational minds I respect in Biafra's struggle. I do not know him as a politician, and the size of his portfolio shows that he is not as wealthy as Raph Uwazurike who ascended into Aso Rock (heaven of Nigeria) and finally became a don after the people had rejected him like they did to Jesus in Bible. I mean it is not wealth and status that made me to have regards for Dêgreat Collins Nzegwu. He took my fancy when I saw that he was truly great in many ways. The contributions he made were great in the struggle, and I love his comments and remarks especially the one he made on my facebook post recently. According to Dêgreat Collins, our people (Ndigbo) need to have a rethink concerning equality in Igbo Kingdom. "Orators need talented people, talented people need brave ones, and brave ones need strong men. Likewise others! That does not mean that they are equal..." he said sagaciously. Frankly speaking, it is known to the people that I am not a sycophant. We know it that Amaguru Dsage lives in me, and nature did not make him to serve as a praise singer. One thing about me is that I speak truth from heart. If we have eyes, we will see that Dêgreat Collins Nzegwu is my soul mate. It is obvious that he is naturally given to speak from heart just like Amaguru Dsage does in the jungle of Biafra and Africa at large. Truth of the matter is that I did not see Dêgreat Collins speaking lies and preaching soothing sermons to the people. He is not like the so-called men of God who work hand in glove with European dream to brainwash the people in Africa. Everything he said came from heart of sincerity, and his words gave us to see that our Biafran elders were not sleeping when they told us that all fingers are not equal anywhere both in Igbo land and outside Biafra. The elders and wise ones of Biafra knew that all fingers were not equal in life. They said it to us in great wisdom and it gave me to wonder because I did not really understand what the people meant when they said that nature did not make Ndigbo to have a king. I mean we need us to come up here and give explanation to us. If I may ask! What do we mean in Igbo Language when we say, Igbo ewehi Eze? Meanwhile, let us remember that George Orwell was a messenger from the Supernatural. It was divinity that sent him from above, and he knew what he saw in Biafra before he wrote the historic tale titled, ANIMAL FARM. According to the story, Napoleon was a wise president of the animals in jungle. He ruled with absolute power, and he was not drunk when he amended the law of the great farm; telling us that all animals are equal, but some are more equal than the others. He said it to us in history and what he said did not called for any interpretation because Ndigbo are not fools in the jungle. It is obvious that we have intellectual mind and so, Ohanaeze ndigbo should be wise enough to know that Napoleon amended that law in order to make us charge our mentality in Igbo land of Biafra. In conclusion, it will be nice if Ndigbo buy the truth from George Orwell. This is because the tale together with that amendment have gone a long way to show that we are wrong each time we think that nature did not make Ndigbo to have a king like Raph Uwazurike in MASSOB of Biafra's struggle under the Sun. I said let us buy the truth, and let the truth set Biafra free from captivity in Nigeria. Onyeji Dominic, 2015. www.onyeji-dominic.com
