Prepare For War As Ex-Militant Tompolo Purchases 7 Warships
Report have started to gather steam that, Ex-Niger Delta
militant, Government Ekpemupolo, alia Tompolo, has allegedly acquired 7
decommissioned Norwegian battleships.
According to a Dagbladet reports (Norwegian Newspaper), the fast-speed Hauk-class guided missile boats had been re-armed with new weaponry with Tompolo’s most recent purchase, a KNM Horten, a fast-attack craft now used in fighting piracy in Nigeria’s waterways.
Buying arms/weaponry from Norway requires an export license from Nigeria’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the ships were reportedly sold first to CAS Global, a British security company that has such a license, after which Tompolo reportedly bought the ships from the British company.
The Dagbladet further reports that the Norwegian ships are now part of the company’s maritime fleet patrolling under a contract for the Federal Government.
