A Simple Plant Kills Up To 98% Of Cancer Cells – And Stops Diabetes

Posted on 12/1/2013 by

I’m always looking for natural substances that throw a “monkey wrench” into the peculiar metabolism of cancer cells. It’s vital these substances kill cancer cells and leave normal cells untouched.

I’ve told you about some of my discoveries in the past. They include resveratrol, green tea, Seanol, and others. But today I’m going to tell you about another plant that safely starves cancer cells as efficiently as a powerful chemo drug. In fact, it even works on pancreatic cancer cells, which are particularly difficult to kill.
This plant is a common vegetable from Asia called “bitter melon.” It is popular among the long-lived population of Okinawa, Japan.
Bitter melon juice diluted to just 5% in water showed remarkable potency in severely damaging all four pancreatic cancer cell lines researchers tested. The bitter melon reduced the viability of two cancer cell lines by 90%, while it knocked off the other two lines by a staggering 98%. And it did so after just 72 hours of treatment!
In the past, I’ve told you about apoptosis. That’s nature’s way of dealing with wayward cells. They simply kill themselves. Bitter melon juice induced this programmed cell death along several different pathways. And even better, it also activated a pathway, which shows that it knocks out the cancer cells’ metabolism of glucose. In other words, it literally starved them of the sugar they need to survive.
Do these lab dish studies apply to living animals? A resounding yes! University of Colorado researchers gave mice bitter melon at doses easily achievable in humans. The animals had a 64% reduction in pancreatic tumor size without side effects! This level of effectiveness beat the most commonly used chemo drugs for this lethal cancer.

Things That The Bible Knew Before Modern Medicine

In numerous instances the Bible contains medical information that far predates man’s actual discoveries of related principles in the field of medicine. The medical instructions given by Moses to the Israelites some 3500 years ago were not only far superior to the practices of contemporary cultures, they also exceeded medical standards practiced as recently as 100 years ago.

Tefillin : An Ancient Acupuncture Point Prescription for Mental Clarity

Tefillin-Acupuncture-Point-Prescription-for-Mental-Clarity
Tefillin is an ancient Jewish prayer ritual that uses two small leather boxes, each attached to a long, 9mm wide, leather strap. One box is placed on the biceps of the weaker arm while the second is placed on the head. The biceps strap is tightly wound along the arm in a carefully prescribed manner. The back of the head strap is tied in a knot and carefully placed at the base of the skull.
The acknowledged purpose of the tefillin is to raise spiritual consciousness of the men who wear it. If we examine where the knots and wrappings are placed from a TCM point of view, it appears that the tefillin and wraps form a potent acupuncture point formula focused on the Governing vessel (Du Mai) and aimed at elevating the spirit and clearing the mind.

Washing of The Hands : Sanitary Practices

Washing-of-The-Hands
For centuries doctors denied the possibility that disease could be transmitted by invisible agents. However, in the late 19th century Louis Pasteur demonstrated in his Germ Theory of Disease that most infectious diseases were caused by microorganisms originating from outside the body. This new understanding of germs and their means of transmission led to improved sanitary standards that resulted in an enormous drop in the mortality rate. Yet these core principles of sanitation were being practiced by the Israelites thousands of years earlier.
The Israelites were instructed to wash themselves and their clothes in running water if they had a bodily discharge, if they came in contact with another person’s discharge, or if they had touched a dead human or animal carcass. They were also instructed to wash any uncovered vessels that were in the vicinity of a dead body, and if a dead carcass touched a vessel it was to be destroyed. Items recovered during war were also to be purified through either fire or running water. In addition, the Israelites were instructed to bury their human waste outside of camp, and to burn the waste of their animals.

Burning of Infected Garments – Bacteria

Sometime after I wrote these web pages, a Bible skeptic unwittingly showed me yet another example of advanced scientific/medical knowledge in the Bible. He posted a message on a discussion board that ridiculed some verses in Leviticus 13 and 14 that mention leprosy on walls and on garments. He felt this was silly and an error since leprosy is a human disease. What this skeptic was unaware of is the fact that leprosy is a bacteria, a living organism, that certainly can survive on walls and garments! In fact, the Medic-Planet.com encyclopedia notes that leprosy “can survive three weeks or longer outside the human body, such as in dust or on clothing”2. It is no wonder that God commanded the Levitical priests to burn the garments of leprosy victims!

Circumcision and Blood Clotting – Not ONLY a sacred bond with G-d

For centuries scholars must have been perplexed by God’s law of circumcision which required the procedure to be performed on the 8th day after birth (Gen 17:12, 21:14, Lev 12:3, Luke 2:21). Medical researchers recently discovered that the two main blood clotting factors, Vitamin K and Prothrombim, reach their highest level in life, about 110% of normal, on the 8th day after birth. These blood clotting agents facilitate rapid healing and greatly reduce the chance of infection. You can verify with any Obstetrician that the 8th day of life is the ideal time for a circumcision, and that any circumcision done earlier requires an injection of Vitamin K supplement.
There is some evidence that circumcision has health benefits, including:
• A decreased risk of urinary tract infections.
• A reduced risk of some sexually transmitted diseases in men.
• Protection against penile cancer and a reduced risk of cervical cancer in female sex partners.
• Prevention of balanitis (inflammation of the glans) and balanoposthitis (inflammation of the glans and foreskin).
• Prevention of phimosis (the inability to retract the foreskin) and paraphimosis (the inability to return the foreskin to its original location).
Circumcision also makes it easier to keep the end of the penis clean.

Don’t Talk While You Eat

do-not-speak-while-you-eat
The Bible has warned us that during our meals we should not speak while we eat since, you might swallow [your food down] the wrong channel. Instead of going to your stomach, it goes into your lungs or your nose and causes you trouble. Sometimes you can die from it!

Women’s Period – The Concept of Family Purity: Healthy for Your Marriage and Wife

The-Concept-of-Family-Purity
Jewish law forbids a husband to approach his wife during the time of her menses, generally from five to seven days, and extends the prohibition of any physical contact beyond this period for another seven days, known as the “seven clean days”. During this time husband and wife are expected to act towards each other with respect and affection but without any physical expression of love—excellent training for that time, later in their lives, when husband and wife will have to discover bonds other than sex to link them one to another. At the end of this twelve to fourteen day period (depending upon the individual woman), the menstruant (known as niddah) must immerse herself in a body of water known as a mikvah and recite a special blessing in which she praises G d for sanctifying us with His commandments and commanding us concerning immersion (tevillah).
And if that’s not enough, it turns out that this wonderful law provides a suitable solution for a number of medical and social problems that many of the married couples had to deal with during marriage . In addition to the above, this law was made up of great expertise in the field of health, medical, and psychological and hormonal field, and the field of international sociological from a couple’s perspective.
