“But the bombing keep happening in our community and no body seem to know what to do”, states the elderly man as he continued to add that up to six bombing incidents have been recorded since last year. He explained that with each incident, it took the intervention of the community youths to quell the incursion of the Boko Haram terrorists. “The security guys only come to take the credit after the work is done“.
Today’s bombing attack appears to have broken the back of the camel as the youths have taken to the streets in large numbers and have set bonfires – and loud chats of anger and rage. The situation fear to grow out of control.
The youths, as gathered, are placing the blame for the seeming insecurity on politics – both national and local – and has go ahead in rage to remove all political posters along the road – and commenced burning all political posters from all political parties.
