The Council State after its Thursday
meeting which lasted for over seven hours
has advised the Independent National
Electoral Commission, INEC,
to go ahead and ensure that the 2015
elections hold as scheduled, despite several concerns raised at the meeting. Speaking with State House correspondents at
the end of the meting, Governor Rochas
Okorocha of Imo State disclosed that INEC
told the council that
it was ready to conduct the elections without
