Christian Association of Nigeria: Okorocha shuns invitation from religious body in Imo

Reports say the Imo state chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria had on Monday, February 9, invited governorship candidates of all registered political parties in the state for an interactive session. It was gathered that all the candidates were present at the event which took place at All Saints Anglican Cathedral, Egbu, except for the Imo State governor, Rochas Okorocha. However,the interactive session went on in the governor's absence with the Anglican Bishop of Okigwe South, David O.C. Onuoha, flagging off the discussion.shi Rt. Rev. Onuoha who was the chairman of the event also advised candidates not to overheat the polity, as whosoever was not lucky this time, should look forward to 2019. “Any candidate that fails to clinch the governorship seat this time, should look forward to 2019. We can only have one governor at a time. “We look forward to seeing a situation when other candidates will gladly congratulate the successful candidate,” Bishop Onuoha pleaded.
