We have cried enough about the backwardness of the North in terms of education,
illiteracy,
disease,
underdevelopment,
poverty and all sorts.
We do not believe that the north cannot be the best in terms of education,
we reject the fact that the North is better known for violence.
God did not intend the Northern part of Nigeria to be inhabited by the poor and the wretched of the earth.
Today,the time has come for a change that we can feel and see and this change must come from the North.
The islamic religion does not preach poverty,
What is happening in the north over the years cannot be the lot of muslims because many prosperous countries today are predominantly muslim peopled.
So we must stand up to help the North find survival,In this journey of renewal of hope,
the north must take the lead in rebuilding.
The socio-economic foundation of the North.
If the right thing things were done in the past, the issue of insurgency as we have in the region today would not be there.
Those who occupy leadership positions at all level must come to the reality that time has come to save the northern region.
Local govt,
state govt,
federal govt of Nigeria must be in sync,in attainment of a new a world of hope and joy for the north because good things can still come from there.
Northern states must invest heavily in education of its teeming youths.
The region has no choice on this matter. Its imperative that the government of the various states in the north must pursue education with uncommon vigour and vibration.
A situation where childreen who can overcome their challenges if given relevant attention,roam the streets and live a nomadic life cannot help the north or anybody.
We must educate them no matter the cost to Nigeria and humanity at large.
Just few days ago the federal govt of Nigeria together with Gordon brown launched the N3BN education security fund for school childreen.
This is commendable and a pace setting project.
The Northern states and their leaders should shun ostentious lifestyles and key into this and take it from there.
While there are still many things the north must pursue in order to save itself from humilliation,
we pause to say that the priority of project should be as follow,Education,
Education,
Education,
and Education.
The North must tell herself the truth,only the north can develop the north, Yes no body else.
Unfortunately they are not ready to help themselves, we still see public officials in the North who are driven by greed and the stolen wealth they can amass for themselves and their childreen.
Many steal their states dry and live like kings as if there wiill not be another day.
While this happens,those who are under their leadership groan in poverty and they do not care.
If they continue to ignore sensible warning,
It may be too late by the time the situation gets out of hand like the boko haram insurgency.
