Speaking with newsmen in Jos, the spokesman of the group, Nuhu Gagara, a Commissioner for Information, during the first tenure of Governor Jonah Jang, said the Northern District, which produced the incumbent had had its share of governance and needed to support either the Central or Southern part of the state to take its turn in the spirit of fairness, justice and equity.
“Morally speaking, we don’t expect anybody from the Northern zone to come out, we expect the Northern zone to cooperate with other zones to produce the next governor of Plateau.
“Even if the zone comes out with an angel, people will not support such. We are more concerned with this and nobody should impose candidate on anybody. There must be justice and fair play.”
