West Brom new signing, Brown Ideye has sorted out problems encountered in obtaining a work permit that will enable him play in the English Premier League.
The Nigeria international would have missed the start of the new season if the docu- ment had not been issued.
The Baggies had an- nounced his acquisition on a 3+1 year deal on July 19 for a fee of £ 10 million, but he failed to resume pre – season training with the club as a re- sult of a visa hitch.
“So happy to announce that my visa has been issued, will join the team ASAP #wba,” Brown Ideye said on his offi- cial Twitter page.
In their opening match of the new season, West Brom will entertain Sunderland on August 16.
