NewsDay Reporters can authoritatively report that the Imo state governor, Chief Rochas Okorocha has instructed that the flex banners of president Goodluck Jonathan, welcoming him ahead of the Saturday rally in the state be destroyed by thugs.
NewsDay Reporters has gathered that the GM of Owerri Capital Development Authority, OCDA, Mr. Emma Ugorji is carrying out the destruction exercise with his thugs.
The PDP billboards welcoming Mr.President ahead of tomorrow's rally to Imo State are seen scattered all over the state, the governor is irked with the solidarity shown to Mr. President by individuals mounting up flex banners welcoming president Goodluck Jonathan to the state.
When NewsDay Reporters confronted Mr. Ugorji, on why his thugs are destroying the Mr. President's flex banners, He claimed that he was sent by the Governor,Rochas Okorocha.
NewsDay Reporters recalls that this is coming after some days that Party Candidates signed an accord for a violent free elections but the APC as ever violent party with Janjaweed ideologies, has reneged on the agreement with the governor of Imo state ordering for the destruction of president Goodluck Jonathan's flex banners in Owerri, Imo State.
Efforts to get the Special Assistant on Media to the governor, Mr. Sam Onwuemodo to comment proved abortive as calls put across to his phone were not answered.
