• Charb – (real name Stephane Charbonnier) 47, an artist and publisher of
Charlie Hebdo
• Cabu – (real name Jean Cabut) 76, the lead cartoonist for Charlie Hebdo
• Georges Wolinski – 80, an artist who had been drawing cartoons since the 1960s
• Tignous – (real name Bernard Verlhac) 57, a member of Cartoonists for Peace
• Bernard Maris – (known as “Uncle Bernard”) 68, an economist and columnist for the magazine
• HonorĂ© – (real name Philippe HonorĂ©) 73, the artist who drew the last cartoon tweeted by the weekly publication
• Michel Renaud – a former journalist who was visiting the Charlie Hebdo offices
• Mustapha Ourrad – a copy-editor for Charlie Hebdo

12.28 The whereabouts of the two gunmen remains unknown. They are said to be on the RN2 motorway back into Paris - still in the same grey Renault Clio that was hijacked after the shootings yesterday. Its number-plates are apparently balcked out.
12.10 Security has been tightened at British ports and on Eurostar in the wake of the Paris attacks, Downing Street said. Matthew Holehouse reports:
The additional security measures mean a great visibility of security staff and police and greater scanning of cars and freight.
No 10 said the move was not in response to a specific threat but more a general reaction to recent events.
12.04 The Charlie Hebdo attack suspects are believed to have stolen food and petrol at gunpoint from this service station in Villers-Cotteret, Picardy - around 50 miles northeast of Paris - before driving off in the direction of the capital.
12.01 A bomb alert was declared at a train station in the French city of Colmar this morning, in the Alsace region of north-eastern France.
No link to either of the recent shootings has yet been suggested.
