Police confiscates three trucks conveying ballot papers in Ogun


Ogun-State-Police-Bella-Naija.The Ogun State police command has on Tuesday intercepted a 40-foot truck loaded with what was suspected to be electoral materials in the Ijebu–Ode axis of Ogun State.
According to report, the truck which registration number is yet to be ascertained was impounded by men of the State Special Security outfit: “OP MESA” who were operating along the Lagos-Sagamu-Benin expressway.
National Mirror reports that two other trucks which contents were suspected to be bales of ballot paper and boxes had escaped before the soldiers attached to OP MESA sighted the third one.
The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Muyiwa Adejobi confirmed the arrest but told newsmen in Abeokuta that he would make the details available later.
