The All Progressives Congress, APC,

APC Will Not Participate In Democracy Celebration- Scribe

The All Progressives Congress, APC, Benue State Chapter yesterday said that its members will not participate in the celebration of this year’s democracy day as a mark of solidarity for Teachers of Benue State who have not received their salaries for the past 10 months.

A statement by the state secretary of the party Hon. Onov Tyuulugh urged APC members nationwide to use the day to mourn for Benue Youths whose future has been completely destroyed by the mindless closure of public primary schools in the state by the PDP Government of Governor Gabriel Suswam.

Hon. Onov Tyuulugh added that Nigerians had no reason to celebrate democracy in the face of the ineptitude and almost complete absence of Governance by President Jonathan as demonstrated in his inability to rescue the Chibok school girls and his incapacity to contain the slaughter of Nigerians by the devilish Boko Haram adding that the PDP has indeed become a partner of the evil Boko Haram in ensuring that Nigerians know no peace.

The state Secretary added that instead of celebrating democracy; the people should hail the PDP for substituting corruption for democracy in the country as nothing good has come out of the years of PDP misrule. Hon. Onov Tyuulugh urged all Nigerians to imbibe a new patriotic determination that will vote out the PDP and save this nation from the final ruination.
