2015: Don’t take South-West for granted, PDP chieftain warns APC

The National Auditor of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Adewole Adeyanju, has warned the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the South West not to take the people of the zone for granted in the forthcoming general elections.
Adeyanju spoke during a special breaking of fast (Iftar) on Saturday for Muslim Communities in Obantoko Area of Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.
According to him, the PDP was more determined than ever to restore good governance to the zone through people-oriented programmes.
The PDP National Executive Committee member was of the opinion that APC governments in the zone had failed to incorporate the human factors in their developmental efforts.
The alleged negligence, he said, accounted for APC dismal performance during the June 21 Ekiti State governorship election, in which the PDP candidate, Mr. Ayo Fayose, defeated the incumbent governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi.
