Leaders of Oguta community in Oguta Local Government Area of Imo State, has expressed solidarity with Governor Rochas Okorocha, saying there is no vacancy at Douglas House, Owerri, in 2015.
Led by Bishop Udo Azogu, the delegation comprising village heads of Oguta, cabinet chiefs, eminent persons, members of Oguta Community Government Council, women and youth leaders exonerated their community from the manner the governor was treated at Sacred Heart Parish, Oguta, during the funeral service of Justice Chukwudifu Oputa.
Azogu urged the governor to be focused on “his popular rescue mission agenda,” noting that what transpired at Oguta was “the machination of some disgruntled politicians who consistently shortchanged Imo State when they were in power as they were busy running and developing the state on the internet.
“Imo State is indeed conspicuously wearing a new look in a wide spectrum of human, intellectual, material and spiritual endeavours underpinning massive infrastructural development, security of life and property and access to free and qualitative education by the less privileged in the society.”
