The Abia State Traditional Rulers Council has disowned the traditional ruler of Eziama Aba, Eze Isaac Ikonne of Aba North, for installing the presidential candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC), former Head of State, Gen. Mohammadu Buhari as the Ogbuagu1 of Aba kingdom, saying he has no powers to do so, reports thenews.
Reacting to Ikonne’s action in a press briefing in Umuahia, the
Chairman, Abia State Traditional Rulers Council, Eze Eberechi Dick, said
the Abia State Council of Traditional Rulers is happy with Governor
Theodore Orji and President Goodluck Jonathan for their people-oriented
governments and condemned Ikonne for his “unwarranted attack on the Abia
State government and the federal Republic of Nigeria.”
He hinted that the council is aware that Ikonne was monetized, to do what he did and shall investigate it and take appropriate actions.
Dr. Agbazuere said it was wrong for Eze Ikonne to continue to attack the government he is part of and implored him to resign if he wants to join politics.
I thought they said Abians are supporting APC?? Buhari, how market?
