Only recently in fulfilling this year’s Pilgrimage to Israel, President
Goodluck Ebele Jonathan (GCFR) arrived Jerusalem on Friday 24th October
with the President of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN),
Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, the founder of Winners’ Chapel, Dr David
Oyedepo, state governors and some members of his executive cabinet.
Top on his Agenda for this year’s Pilgrimage to Israel is to seek the face of God for Nigeria to overcome her Security challenges which have hampered on developments stride in parts of the north of Nigeria.
President Jonathan, a man who believes in the efficacy of God’s power ensured that he had in his entourage men of God who have change the course of living in Nigeria for the better to join him in intercessory prayer sessions and praises to God, because he believes that, very soon, Nigeria will be celebrated among the Nations of the world.
Clearly stating the obvious, President Jonathan is a Leader with God in Mind in everything he does, he is a Leader who seeks God guidance in all his doings, He is a Leader who puts God First before other things, he is a leader who has seen Nigeria through the many challenges without blinking his eyes but rather he does even more just because God is involved in the affairs of Nigeria and his administration to securely deliver the dividends of democracy to Nigerians as and when due.
Indeed, Nigeria is really blessed to have President Jonathan as Leader and Father of the Nation. He is a man of PEACE; hence Nigerians must support his administration to totally destroy the works of the enemy being perpetrated through the activities of Boko Haram insurgents in the country.
During his visit to Jerusalem, President visited Mount Carmel, with Bishop David Oyedepo of Winners’ Chapel leading the prayer session. President Jonathan also arrived at the Wailing Wall of Jerusalem with his entourage as part of his tour and processes of seeking the face of God for Nigeria. The places visited by President Jonathan include; Church of Transfiguration.
Meanwhile, President Jonathan met with the Prime Minister of Israel, Mr Benjamin "Bibi" Netanyahu to discuss Israel’s support to Nigeria to combat the spread and existence of terrorism in Nigeria
