The manner at which Igbos have now come to dominate most of Abuja and surrounding areas is something very surprising & interesting i must say.

Apart from Abuja main city of which clearly the igbos are the majority, the other sub-urban districts like Nyanya, Karu, Kubwa, Jukwoyi also now seem dominated by igbos. Even the population of the igbos in surrouding towns of Abuja, like Dei dei, Lugbe, Madalla, Suleja, Zuba, Karimu, Chika e.t.c is something else.
This is why i am beginning to believe that igbos may actually be Nigeria's largest group. This is just exactly the same way they dominate so many parts of Lagos despite the fact Lagos is interiorly yoruba land.
Igbos seem to be the only group represented in population almost everywhere in Nigeria and yet their own homeland is still very populated.
Prior to the time the capital was moved to Abuja in the early 90's, there were only a very few population of settlers in Abuja areas, but now the place has become overwheminly dominated by settlers especially igbos, plus hausas and yorubas too.
Well this is why surely in 2016 coming census, ethnicity & religion must be included so that we really know the truth once and for all who are the majority in so so aspect and who are not. We are tired of so many lies being paraded by some groups.
