BBC Africa

t's been another violent and bloody week in Nigeria. And now a new report by aid agencies has revealed that more than a quarter of a million people have been made homeless by Boko Haram attacks in the last year alone, and 3, 300 people have been killed. The report also highlights concerns that the Nigerian government is struggling to contain the group's spreading influence, which could cause instability across west Africa. On ‪#‎BBCNewsday‬ this morning from 02GMT, we'll hear from Jan Egeland, leader of the Norwegian Refugee Council, who helped compile the report.
