POLICE KILL 4 ROBBERS IN IMO
The police in IMO state have sent 4 alleged armed robbers to their early graves.
Speaking to journalists on the development, the state commissioner of police, cp Abdulmajid Ali,Monday said that the alleged criminals met their deaths when they engaged police in a gun battle, while robing people at Nekede, Owerri, Sunday.
Cp Ali who disclosed that the incident took place around 8:30pm,said that the accused robbers died before they reached the hospital.
The IMO CP informed that one Lucky Amaechi from Ngor Okpala LGA of the state was arrested unhurt,saying that he is helping the police in investigation.
When interviewed by newsmen, Mr Amaechi who said he is 23 years old confessed to the crime.
