Don’t expect Ekiti ‘miracle’ in Osun, Aregbesola tells PDP

Osun State Governor Rauf Aregbesola has told the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) not to expect a repeat of the outcome of Ekiti State election in Osun State in the August 9 governorship election.
The Governor who spoke at a campaign rally stated that “the people of Ekiti had decided to go the way they wanted and we have nothing to do about that.” He said that “the victory of PDP in Ekiti state would have no effect on the governorship poll in Osun State.”
Aregbesola, who promised to employ more civil servants in the state, stressed the need for civil servants to support him, just as he warned security agents against devilish acts during the election, threatening that “any security agent who misbehaves during the election would realise that we are in Yorubaland.”
He however promised “to cooperate with security agents before and during the election, adding that “any security officer who misbehaves will know that we are children of Oduduwa.”
Aregbesola who noted that he had not completed the projects his government embarked upon, assured of their completion during his second term returned to office. The Governor also blamed the federal government for the dwindling allocation to the states, especially the APC controlled states.
