This adage is so true in the case of Junaid Mohammed.
Junaid Muhammed said this about Ndigbo, and Census/Population:

1. Mr Junaid Muhammed has right to his opinion. He has voiced out the error the North has hold on to since independence. The North believes that the people living in the desert are more in population than those living in the forest region. It is pitiable that all the North is holding on as an advantage in Nigeria political terrain is an outdated, open lie, and historical crime by the British colonial masters''.
2. Mr Juniad Muhammed we forgive your ignorance because as an outdated Soviet trained engineer much is not expected from you. It is only unfortunate that you are the best your people could produce in this era of intellectual giant strands.
3. If you and your people think that the census figure is correct, if you and your people believe that the North is more in population than the South, then accept biometric identification card and digital census. Why are you afraid to be counted again? Even if your cows be counted as humans again chances are very high you would not make up to 45% of the total population of Nigeria. Sir do you really understand that land mass does not necessarily mean population figures? Since you are so sure why is the North so fanatical in their opposition to population count? We know sir that Gen. Buhari who never attended security council meeting before had to attend during OBJ regime. His aim to scuttle the census agenda and he succeeded. Is this the attitude of a people that is sure of their claims on population?
4. The issue of Ndigbo marrying late does not mean disadvantage in population growth. That you married early does not mean you would have more children than others. We get ready to take family responsibility, to take care of our wives and children before marriage. We make sure there is a roof over our families before the woman is brought in. This is why we do not have almajiris. This is why our children go to school early and do not live on the streets. This is why Ndigbo have a very minimal number of homeless children in the East, the land of the rising sun.
5. It is unfortunate that you do not understand statistics. This is forgivable because as a product of the old block you are yet to upgrade to the latest scientific information about Nigeria education results. According to statistics from UNICEF, the World Bank, and the ministry of education show that Ndigbo ranks highest in the number of enrollment in all the levels of education in Nigeria. Check the records Ndigbo has the lowest number of school drop outs in Nigeria. According to the statistics on children there are 10.9 million illiterate children in Nigeria 93% are from the North. Yet you have the effrontery to publicly challenge Ndigbo on education and civilization. Sir let me inform you that Imo state alone has the highest number of professors in Nigeria today. We also produced the first two professors in Nigeria before independence.
6. Junaid it might interest you to know that in spite of the federal repressive, retrogressive, and punitive policies of your despotic heads of states, the quoter system, marginalization, federal character, and policy of exclusion aimed against Ndigbo we still better than the whole of the Northern region put together. We are also free from the palpable disease that ravage your states, I make bold to tell you that Ndigbo have better quality of live, high living standard, against the number of your people living in penury. With the three zones in the North combined together, we still rank higher than you in education, commerce, industry, technology, science and modernization. Your only advantage over us is the alarming number of illiteracy, uncultured, ill breed, almajiris you turn in every year as we turn in mass of university graduates every year. If we withdrew our sons and daughters from serving in your states your hospitals will close, and your schools will close. Respect and appreciation is the debt you owe us.
7. Now that you know your advantages over us and the rest of the South and West, how about you go and start to enjoy your life and develop your country with the great population you have. We are getting tired of feeding over populated region that has nothing to offer but hypocrisy, ignorant, retrogression, jihad, death, sorrow, and blood. Go and declare your Arewa republic and we will not envy you.
