Jonathan not involved in plot to impeach me –Nyako

Contrary to claims that the Presidency is funding his impeachment, Governor Murtala Nyako of Adamawa State has absolved President Goodluck Jonathan of involvement in the plans by the State House of Assembly to impeach him and his deputy.

The governor said this in Yola on Friday.

It is unclear if this is the true position or part of the condition spelt out by the Presidency after Nyako and other elders approached President Jonathan for reconcilitation.
