I say! During elections, we elect people to governing positions with the perspective that they will act in the best interest of the country, nevertheless, things don’t normally figure out the way we intended. Tomorrow, do give people (re-election) the chance to induce a change if they are not happy with the elected individual.
Such opportunity is open to all for one to reach a change if need be, but most people neglect to act rightly. Then reason of becoming a Christian is to induce peace and be happy in life, however, we witness some individuals who engage the journey and for many still surfers and are not set up to produce a modification, I can reason with such as some leaders do create fear in the faithful.
The prophet Isaiah continues with the encouragement of us relying on the living God only, again the writer makes no mistake by telling us of the many ways these leaders presents themselves just to delude us, once more and of their agents encouraging the faithful to trust in these leaders vs. 9-10.
There is nothing amiss as a leader, benefiting from the work you do in the name of the living God, but it is ever wrong by creating fear in people in the name of the living God for your own personal gains. Friends, all these behaviors can be stopped if as individuals we learn on the obligation of studying the bible methodically.
Let's see what the bible has to say;
Isaiah 56:9-12 (NKJV)
9 All you beasts of the field, come to devour, All you beasts in the forest.
10 His watchmen are blind, They are all ignorant; They are all dumb dogs, They cannot bark; Sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber.
11 Yes, they are greedy dogs Which never have enough. And they are shepherds Who cannot understand; They all look to their own way, Every one for his own gain, From his own territory.
12 “Come,” one says, “I will bring wine, And we will fill ourselves with intoxicating drink;
Tomorrow will be as today, And much more abundant.”
