Yari, who gave the assurance while receiving the National President of Miyatti Allah Association, a socio-cultural group, at Government House in Gusau, assured the Fulani that his administration would continue to give them the needed attention.
He thanked the delegation for the visit, and promised not to relent in his effort to develop the state.
Yari, who donated a bus to Miyatti Allah Association in the state, urged Fulani to unite and ensure a common goal.
Earlier, the National President of the association, Alhaji Muhammed Kiruwa, commended the governor for his foresight of transforming the state.
Kiruwa explained that with the present development in the state, the Fulani had nothing against the governor, stressing that the governor had transformed education in the state.
“The entire Fulani in the state have nothing against the governor. We assure him of our support for a second term and beyond,” he said.
The Miyatti Allah president stated that with the present leadership of the Fulani association, normalcy had returned to almost all the states they visited.
He advised Governor Yari to set up a committee that would ensure total eradication of cattle rustling across the state.
He further urged the governor to beware of fake Fulani associations, stressing that the Fulani had one umbrella body, which is Miyatti Allah Association.
