THE ISLAMIC STATE (IS) MADE A PREEMPTIVE THREAT AGAINST THE UNITED STATES AND PRESIDENT OBAMA PRIOR TO HIS ANNOUNCEMENT THAT THE US MILITARY WOULD CARRY OUT TARGETED OUT AIR STRIKES AGAINST THE MILITARY ISLAMIC GROUP.
The ‪#‎video‬ that features the spokesman for the group, Abu Mosa, is the first of a series to be released by VICE, following the three week trip reporter Medyan Dairieh took to the Syrian city of Raqqa, which is currently a part of the self-declared caliphate of IS.

“I say to America that the Islamic Caliphate has been established,”
Mosa said in the YouTube video. “Don’t be cowards and attack us with drones.
Instead send your soldiers, the ones we humiliated in Iraq.”
He added that IS will “raise the flag of Allah” in The White House.
The group has proclaimed they’ll spread their caliphate across the Middle East.
However, President Obama announced Thursday that while there won’t be any ground troops in Iraq, the military will be launching aerial strikes against the extremist group in an effort to protect religious minorities.
In addition to military might, the US will be initiating a humanitarian effort to help the thousands of displaced Iraqi citizens trapped in the Sinjar Mountains in the northern portion of the country.
The first of the air strikes were carried out this morning with reports of hundreds of militants killed.
News broke later in the day that a second round of strikes was underway.
