PDP SHOULD FORGET KADUNA IN 2015, SAYS - MALLAM NASIR EL-RUFAI.
One of the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship aspirant in the 2015 election in Kaduna, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, has asked the ruling People’s Democratic Party’s administration of Mukhtar Yero in the state to forget about coming back to office after the poll.
The indicted former BPE Boss stated this just as a Coalition of Political Supporters Group endorsed President Goodluck Jonathan/Namadi Sambo and governor Yero’s ticket for the 2015 general elections.
Yero, who received the group at the Sir Kashim Ibrahim Government House shortly after the endorsement at an expanded meeting of the group at Murtala Square, Kaduna, on Thursday, urged the ruling party to unite against the main opposition, the APC, in the state.
El-Rufai, while donating 15 different brands of vehicles to the state executive of the APC in Kaduna State on Thursday, dismissed the PDP as a party to win the next governorship race in the state.
He noted that after all, in the 2011 governorship poll, it was the defunct Congress for Progressive Change that won the election.
He described as wishful thinking the desire of the current administration of Yero to come back after the 2015 poll.
El-Rufai alleged that the state was being run “by grossly incompetent government that must be unseated for the purposeful unity and development.”
The former minister argued that defeating the ruling party in that state would be “as simple as ABCD because the state government has nothing to show in the state.” -
