Buhari Support Group Seeks End To Corruption And Indiscipline In Nigeria

The General Muhammadu Buhari Support Group has emphasised the need to tackle corruption and indiscipline among Nigerians in order to make meaningful and sustained progress.
Addressing a news conference in Abuja on Saturday as part of preparations for the formal declaration of General Buhari as a presidential hopeful of the All Progressives Congress (APC), the National Secretary of the group, Mr Ibrahim Dauda stressed the need for Nigerians to effect the necessary leadership change in order to move the nation out of the doldrums.
Mr Dauda stressed that, as a former head of state, General Buhari was poised to bring corruption to its knees and ensure that the collective wealth of the people was not concentrated in the hands of a few persons.
General Buhari had declared his intention to run as the presidential candidate of the APC last week few days before another former leader, Mr Atiku Abubakar, who was the Vice President during the tenure of President Olusegun Obasanjo, declared his interest to run on the same party’s palatform.
