In compliance with the court judgment, for­mer Deputy Governor of Adamawa State, Mr. Bala James Ngilari, has been sworn in as governor of the state.
He was sworn in at about 3.10 p.m by the President of Adamawa State Cus­tomary Court of Appeal, Justice Audu Lawan Lagre.
In his first broadcast, the new governor told the people of the state that he would operate an open-door government that would be all-inclusive.
Ngilari called on the people of the state to join hands with him to build a united, virile and vibrant state that would bring about socio-economic de­velopment of the state.
