I say! Good speakers always deliver their case with a built in escape line.
I say! Good speakers always deliver their case with a built in escape line. We experience this when people exhibit a shell is difficult to box them down because they will discover answers to all questions, what I like about such individuals is they help me to explore human thinking.
Youngsters of the living God sometimes find it difficult to question the Lord of what and why things are not working well in their spirits, asking questions thus not mean you do not desire the Lord but it avails you to understand Him the more “meditation.”
Following yesterdays message, 1 Kings carries on the idea of King Solomon richness that he was able to offer (based on his understanding) such great offering but had the opportunity to change when the Lord granted him an option vs. 4-5.
We too do get such option to vary but because probably we are not studying the Bible systematically, we are not capable to recognize such moments. The option giving to the king proves that his riches was not able to dictate to the masses.
Please join me tomorrow, 1 Kings 3:6-9.
Let's see what the bible says;
1 Kings 3:4-5 (NKJV)
4 Now the king went to Gibeon to sacrifice there, for that was the great high place: Solomon offered a thousand burnt offerings on that altar. 5 At Gibeon the LORD appeared to Solomon in a dream by night; and God said, “Ask! What shall I give you?”
