Jonathan returns from Germany, attends Akunyili’s service of songs today

President Goodluck Jonathan yesterday returned to the country from Germany where he went last Friday for a private visit.
He will today lead the Federal Government delegation to a service of songs organised in honour of the late former Minister of Information, Prof. Dora Akunyili, holding at the Our Lady Queen of Nigeria Pro-Cathedral, Garki, Abuja today.
Jonathan arrived the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport at about 4.25p.m and was received by some top government officials.
Dressed in a pair of navy blue suit, a white shirt and his trademark hat, the president was received at the airport by his Chief of Staff, Brig. Gen. Jones Arogbofa (retd); Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Senator Bala Muhammed; and the acting Inspector General of Police, Suleiman Abba, among others.
The Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Dr. Reuben Abati, had at the weekend, denied media reports that President Jonathan was sick.
