Kaduna State went agog yesterday as over 150 groups declared their support for President Goodluck Jonathan and Namadi Sambo. They also called on the people of Kaduna State to rally round Governor Mukhtar Ramalan Yero and Ambassador Nuhu Audu Bajoga.
The ceremony took place at the Shehu Musa Yar’Adua indoor hall, Murtala Square, Kaduna. The rally was coordinated by former Commissioner for Youth and Sports in Kaduna State, Mr. Abdulhazeez Mohammed.
The groups include, Kungiya Marokan PDP (Praise Singers), Yero project, Southern Kaduna Winning All (SOKWINA) forum, Kaduna jobless Association, G23Alliance and Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN).
Chairman on the occasion, Senator Musa Bello said the achievements of President Jonathan and Governor Yero were enormous and called on the groups to give them a second chance so as to consolidate on their achievements.
The PDP, according to him, has delivered on its promises to the electorate in the past 15 years in spite of the challenges and would not fail in providing good governance to the good people of Kaduna State and Nigeria at large.
