Gunmen kidnap Ogun lawmaker’s mother

Gunmen have kidnapped mother of Pastor Remmy Hazzan, the lawmaker representing Odogbolu Constituency in Ogun State House of Assembly.
Hazzan, who disclosed this to Radio Nigeria in a telephone interview, said his 69-year-old mother, Mrs Rachael Hazzan, was kidnapped at her Omu Ijebu residence in Odogbolu Local Government Area of the state.
The lawmaker, who stated that his mother was kidnapped on Wednesday at about 8p.m, explained that the victim’s neighbour informed him about the incident.
“I saw my mum’s missed call when I came back from church last night (Wednesday night) and I called back and we spoke till about 8 p.m only to receive a call some minutes later from her neighbour that she had been abducted,” Hazzan said.
When contacted, the state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Muyiwa Adejobi, said Hazzan informed him of his mother’s alleged kidnap.
