Major Muhamodu Buhari is a pretentious anti-corruption fighter. The trajectory of a man's journey in public wooing reasons, I can not vote for Buhari
1. He is an oligarch who does not believe in equality before the law. The way he jailed Lateef Jakande, Jim Nwobodo, Ambrose Ali, Pa Adekunle Ajasin, Chief Ayo Ojewumi on cases that had no foundation and allowed Awwal Ibrahim, the then Niger State governor, who was arrested in Heathrow Airport in London with 14 million pounds sterling and several millions of Naira and dollars to be under house arrest is my evidence. He also allowed Shehu Kangiwa, Sokoto State Governor who conducted and supervised the famous Bakolori Massacre of poor peasant farmers whose land were appropriated without compensation to remain under house arrest.
1(a) Ayo Ojewumi became blind as a result of his imprisonment over false charges and died shortly after.
1 (b) Prof. Ambrose Alli also became blind as a result of this false imprisonment. When he died, he had only one undeveloped plot of land to his name.
1© Pa Adekule Ajasin was never the same after his eventual release and remained sickly for the rest of his life. When he died, he never had any property anywhere in the world except the one he had built from his sweat as long term teacher and school principal in Owo township.
Therefore, It beats my imagination when I hear people talk about buhari's presidency bringing honesty to governance my question has always been how did he come to power? Through the back door? While he was in office what did he do to fix Nigeria problem instead he went to Morocco to sign a pact with the then president vowing to make Nigeria an Islamic country? What was the situation that led to Babangida taking over from him? Because he could not be trusted with Nigeria project or what? I bet u Buhari has nothing I mean nothing to offer to Nigeria problem. this is a president who could not build one single Federal road while in office yet people are clamouring for change we better wake up from slumber if anyone thinks Buhari will bring the change we are clamouring for he better go and check his record as head of state and let's stop being myopic to issues of national importance.
But my question, why is Buhari so desperate to become the President of Nigeria? What is driving his desperation; patriotism or arrogance, love for Nigerians or jingoism, honest, honorable, sane judgement or perfidious/deceitfulness, leadership or fickle? What is motivating him to believe that Nigerians want him to lead the country after so many rejections? Must one be an elected official before serving one country? Is there a point he want to prove to Nigerians? What's wrong? Why must he contest every Presidential elections since 1999? Can't he learn from refined politicians like John McCain, Mitt Romney and John Kerry? I understand the fact that every qualified Nigerian should aspire to contest and win elections and served the country, but an elder should know when to hand over the baton to the next generation.
MAY GOD HELP OUR COUNTRY
HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY
