APC congress turns violent in Kaduna
The long awaited All Progressives Congress (APC) ward congress to elect ward leaders yesterday in Kaduna turned violent, as hoodlums hijacked the ballot boxes and confronted each other with dangerous weapons.

At the LEA Primary School, Mallali, Kaduna North Local Government Area , thugs freely engaged in a free for all and several people sustained  machete cuts.

One of the victims, Sunday Ishaya Dauda said, he was  not a member of the APC and was not aware of the congress but when he heard that his younger brother went to the convention venue, he dashed to the spot only to find his brother being beaten by a group of people and was lying down in his own pool of blood.

Giving details of the incident, Hajiya Aisha Umar an INEC Official in Kaduna North Local Government said she was detailed from her office to monitor the convention at Malali ward.
