House of horror in Ilorin

Kwara State Police Command yesterday  uncovered an abandoned building complex along Lagos-Ilorin Expressway in the Kwara State capital, suspected to be hideout for  human parts dealers and other criminals.
Built on  about four plots, the complex located near NASFAT praying ground with the inscription “For Sale” was covered by over grown weeds.
Some of the items allegedly recovered from the six buildings of about 18 flats, said to be owned by an 85-year-old socialite, include decomposed human bodies, a headless body and other human parts, snail shells, a  piece of cloth suspected to have been used in strangling victims, bra, NYSC  cap, shoes, clothes, eye glasses, handset cover and pairs of sandals.
Speaking with journalists in Ilorin yesterday, the state Police Commissioner, Mr. Ambrose Aisabor, said the command’s special undercover agents, acting on, “highly potent intelligence,” and information from members of the public, uncovered the hideout on Saturday.
The police boss said the aged socialite, who allegedly owns the building  was being interrogated, adding that no arrest had been made so far.
Also paraded were two students of Kwara State College of Education, Ilorin, suspected to be armed robbers.
The police commissioner said they were arrested for allegedly robbing one Musa Azeez and others of various items including money at gunpoint within the college campus.
He said the suspects had confessed to the crime and would soon be charged to court.
Aisebo commended the people of the state for given the command useful information that led to series of success his men has been made in tye past and promised that any information given will be treated with uttermost confidentaility.
