South Africans mobilise to intimidate Nigeria

Determined to claim the first victory over Nigeria in a competitive football match, the South Africa Football Association (SAFA) has perfected strategies to mobilize the nation’s soccer fans to come out in their numbers when Bafana Bafana host Nigeria’s Super Eagles at the Cape Town Stadium tomorrow.
Tickets for the clash are still available and SAFA’s head of communications, Dominic Chimhavi, wants the fans to create an electric atmosphere to intimidate the Super Eagles.
“We are asking the members of the public to go out and buy tickets,” KickOff.com quoted the SAFA’s spokesman.
“The tickets are going for R50, R100 and R150. Capetonians have never disappointed, especially when Bafana are playing, and we want them to create an electric atmosphere.
“We want to intimidate the Nigerians and we know that the Nigerians usually beat us, but this is a new dawn and we want to change that history,” Chimhavi added.
The South African team goes into tomorrow’s clash brimming with confidence from its impressive 3-0 away   victory over Sudan at the weekend.
