Men and Brethren, today we are starting another series, the purpose of this series is to enlighten our friends about some certain things they dont know about their own prophet.
Now, most times, when u tell our friends that you are bringing stuff
about Muhammad, the expectations have always been that it must be from
the Hadith, but today, we are going to start off with the Qur'an.
Now, according to the holiest book of the Muslim, Muhammad the prophet is Islam is allowed to "DIVORCE" a child who have not started menstruating.
Now, I know this one is hard to swallow, but we are going to read it from the Qur'an right now, but before then, we need to understand that before "DIVORCE" can set in, marriage needs to come in first.
We read from the Qur'an:

And those of your women as have passed the age of monthly courses, for them the 'Iddah (prescribed period), if you have doubts (about their periods), is three months, and for those who have no courses [(i.e. they are still immature) their 'Iddah (prescribed period) is three months likewise, except in case of death] . And for those who are pregnant (whether they are divorced or their husbands are dead), their 'Iddah (prescribed period) is until they deliver (their burdens), and whosoever fears Allah and keeps his duty to Him, He will make his matter easy for him.
[Qur'an 65:4]

If someone comes to you, telling you he is a prophet of God and that he has receive a command from that same God he can marry an immature girl who have not started menstruation, what will be your response to him?
