FG Approves ₦ 147.4bn for Dualisation of Major RoadsPresident Goodluck Jonathan has approved the sum of ₦147.4billion for the dualisation of the Lokoja-Benin and Ore-Sahgamu roads. The Minister of Works Mike Onolomemen said the road would add economic value to the nation as well as reduce travel time.
Onolomemen explained the contracts were for the execution of Phase II,
dualisation of Lokoja-Benin Road section I, II, III and IV in Kogi and
Edo States.
This is a prime example of President Jonathan’s commitment to the improvement of the country's road infrastructure in his transformation Agenda.
