The Chairman of the Transition Committee in Ekiti State, Chief Dipo Anisulowo, has said his committee and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) are preparing for Thursday’s inauguration of the Governor-elect, Mr. Ayo Fayose.
In a statement in Ado-Ekiti yesterday, he announced that, the much-awaited inauguration of the Ekiti State Governor-elect, Fayose as governor of Ekiti State, comes up on Thursday October 16, 2014,” at the Oluyemi Kayode Stadium in Ado-Ekiti.
He charged the people not to be bothered by the antics of the opposition, saying: “Discerning people of  Ekiti State and Nigerians at large can now see that the so-called defenders of democracy are mere pretenders.
“How can a genuine democrat be hell bent on subverting the people’s will? We want Ekiti people to know that the voice of the people is the voice of God and they have spoken and spoken well.”
