Not many people gave celebrity businessman, Ikenna Chidoka, a chance when he was appointed National Commander of Man O’ War Nigeria. For them, the good looking entrepreneur would not be able to resuscitate the comatose organization. But the Citizenship and Training Center, the supervisory body for Man O’ War seems to have made the right decision when it looked inwards to select Chidoka, who until his appointment as National Commander, was the Chief Executive Officer of Kadochi Limited, franchise owner of Berrylux Paints.
The young entrepreneur, who was appointed the national patron for the paramilitary organization months before he was picked as the first National Commander, has transformed the fortunes of Man O’ War. Chidoka got Man O’ War a befitting head office from where states’ commands can be properly coordinated. But the success story of Ikenna as Man O’ War National Commander isn’t the story for today. The gist here is that the younger brother to the Minister of Aviation, Osita Chidoka, is finally quitting bachelorhood. Ikenna, who is the youngest of the Chidoka brothers, is set to wed Amaka Anionwu. Already, plans for the wedding have reached advanced stage with the traditional and white weddings scheduled for sometime in October.
