PETER OBI HAVE BEEN URGED NOT TO DECAMP TO PDP- CHIEF BEN OBI( MBUZE) JJJ CHAIRPERSON

"The Senior Special Assistant to Anambra
State Governor on Inter-Party Matters,
Chief Ben Obi, has urged former
Governor Peter Obi not to defect to the
Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), as being
speculated.
Ben Obi told reporters in Awka, the state
capital, that it would be a political suicide
for the former governor to join the PDP.
The frontline politician urged Obi not to
leave the All Progressives Grand Alliance
(APGA) because doing so would ridicule
him.
He told the former governor that
abandoning APGA would amount to
destroying the house he built for several
years.
Ben Obi, who is also the chairman of the
Join Jonathan Journey (JJJ), told reporters
that President Goodluck Jonathan
recognised JJJ as one of the groups for his
2015 presidential project.
The governor’s aide said the Igbo race
would not welcome Obi’s defection to the
PDP.
The former governor did not attend the
launch of JJJ in Awka a few weeks ago,
although it was learnt that he was
attending the World Igbo Congress (WIC)
meeting outside the state.
Ben Obi said: “The former governor has
not told us why he resigned his position
as the Board of Trustees (BoT) Chairman.
The Igbo race will not forgive him if he
joins the PDP.
“Obi should support Obiano in the good
work he is doing. If he joins the PDP, they
will make a mockery of him and it will be
a suicide venture. This is because he
swore to Anambra people that after
leaving office, he would go back to his
business. You can’t build a house and pull
it down.”
He dismissed the claims that there was a
crisis in APGA.
Ben Obi said there was only one APGA,
adding that the Federal legislators, who
left the party, were misadvised.
