Former Military Governor/Administrator of Borno and Lagos States, Brigadier-General Muhammed Buba Marwa has been described as the best material for the Adamawa by-election coming up on October 11, this year.
Making the assertion during a chat with Daily Sun was the National Cordinator, Jonathan/Sambo Vanguard Group, Chief Clement Okwuego, who also coordinated for Marwa in Anambra State when he was gunning for the presidency in 2007.
While commenting on the coming election , Okwuego advised the electorate to “shine their eyes” and elect a credible candidate that will bring peace and unity to the state.
According to him, Gen Buba Marwa is one of the leading aspirants “that I have known for a long time, reminding that, “I was his coordinator in Anambra State 2007 when he was gunning for the presidency.”
His words: “I made Marwa a household name in Anambra. He is a very considerate and understanding gentleman. He is the best candidate to move Adamawa forward. He was military Administrator in Lagos and Borno States. He did so well in Lagos and I know it. He turned the “area boys” to better human beings. He constructed good roads which are still standing till date. He also rehabilitated other roads. I believe he would repeat all these even better in Adamawa. He will also reduce poverty and build an enduring social security in the State. The PDP should pick him as its candidate for the people to vote for him overwhelmingly to become the Governor.”
